My business corporate Credit Card was hacked from July 19 2014 which the ONLY people to received a charge on it with the pass code number on it was Lavasoft Ad-Aware.
I was very concerned that there Tech Support problems which is why I shut down Ad-Aware and went with another Virus Protection Co.
I was talked into letting their Tech Support enter two computers and now I changed all my passwords to safe-guard myself from these people.
Lavasoft outsourced to I believe India and the rude and unknowledgeable staff I dealt with who kept shutting down my anti virus system after it was fully paid for, cautioned me to drop this company of idiots. Now within the last hour July 20 2014 I had to deal with my Bank Credit Card company because of fraudulent charges in access of $200.00. More inconvenience due to Lavasoft bozo's, this is a WARNING to all that have this companies Virus Protection. I am sure that if your card was hacked recently that you need to check out who requested your passcode on the back of the card in the last 3 months.
My bank agrees with my experience that it is very possible that Lavasoft is the responsible party whether or not they are the hacker or their Emerchant account is that collects credit card payments.
Many American companies are outsourcing to foreign countries and are selling our privacy DOWN THE RIVER with people who could give a dam.
